Why Short-Term Mission Trips?
Galcom International installs radio stations and distributes radios through short-term mission trips worldwide. Going on a mission trip can be a life-changing experience. It makes you take a risk, step out in faith, and allows God to use your life to make an impact on others.
Using the tool of solar-powered, fix-tuned radios with audio Bibles on them, Galcom International makes it possible for people all over the world who otherwise might never be reached to hear the Word of God.
Galcom will provide all the travel information you need, as well as the tools you need, to help you raise the prayer support and funds for your trip.
Thousands of lives have been changed as God’s Word is faithfully preached in the language of the hearer through the use of solar-powered, fix-tuned radios with audio Bibles. There are still thousands more who are thirsty for that same opportunity: to hear the Gospel.
You can change lives by handing out radios or installing a Christian radio station.

Recent Trips
Peru 2025 Mission Trip Report
We travelled to Peru at the end of March and the beginning of April. We were able to visit two prisons, one in Huánuco and the other in Pucallpa, to distribute eyeglasses and radios with audio Bibles. We received a warm welcome in the prisons, and the prisoners received the items with enthusiasm. More than 100 inmates gave their lives to Christ through the Evangelical preaching. We have heard reports that many people are walking around listening to the radios, and they would like us to bring more for the prisoners to use.
In May, we travelled to Chosica and Ayacucho. In Chosica, we distributed radios with audio Bibles, and then we flew to Ayacucho, where we distributed radios with audio Bibles in a village. After that, we held a ladies’ conference, where we taught about the Fruit of the Spirit. It was well attended, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there singing, teaching, and doing crafts with the ladies.

Upcoming Trips
Mexico – February 2026
We are planning a trip to collaborate with Jim and Jamie Loker in the Otomi language. We will be distributing 800 audio Bibles that have just been converted to audio format. We will be going with 4 members from Tsawwassen Alliance Church in Delta, BC and 4 people from Ontario. This church sent a team to Ecuador in November 2023, and we are excited to lead another team with them.
Huánuco, Peru – May 2026
In May we plan to go to Huánuco, Peru to deliver and distribute radios with Huamalies Quechua audio Bibles on them. We plan to go into the prison and distribute radios as well as go out into villages in the countryside around Huánuco.

Ayacucho, Peru – July 2026
we plan to go to Ayacucho to work with Runa Simi and deliver and distribute radios with Ayacucho Quechua audio Bibles on them. We are working with Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church in Carstairs, Alberta. They have a complete team from their church. We are excited to take this team to Peru to deliver radios. Pray for the details to come together.
Tarapoto, Peru – September 2026
In September, we are planning a trip to Tarapoto, Peru. We will be taking radios to distribute to two villages. We will also be teaching a ladies’ conference with the topic from the verse Matthew 4:19 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” We need more women on this team to teach the ladies in Peru. Radio Installation Trips
We are still working on the dates for radio station installation trips for this year. We need people who are able to climb towers, install solar panels, do electrical work and/or set up the computer side of the radio station. Get your name on our stand-by list to install a station. The schedule depends on funding and licensing in the country where the station will be installed. You will be contacted as the need arises.
