Why Short-Term Mission Trips?
Galcom International installs radio stations and distributes radios through short-term mission trips worldwide. Going on a mission trip can be a life-changing experience. It makes you take a risk, step out in faith, and allows God to use your life to make an impact on others.
Using the tool of solar-powered, fix-tuned radios with audio Bibles on them, Galcom International makes it possible for people all over the world who otherwise might never be reached to hear the Word of God.
Galcom will provide all the travel information you need, as well as the tools you need, to help you raise the prayer support and funds for your trip.
Thousands of lives have been changed as God’s Word is faithfully preached in the language of the hearer through the use of solar-powered, fix-tuned radios with audio Bibles. There are still thousands more who are thirsty for that same opportunity: to hear the Gospel.
You can change lives by handing out radios or installing a Christian radio station.

Peru June – July 2026 Mission Trip Report
Galcom and Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church organized this trip to Ayacucho, Peru. We worked with Samuel and Rosa Saccsara from Runa Simi Ministry. The team installed a new roof on the training centre, where Quechua pastors and leaders come for training. Samuel and Rosa have needed this leaky roof repaired for quite a few years. We travelled long, winding roads to four communities to distribute Compass radios with Ayacucho audio Bibles. We know there will be many eternal results from this team’s effective efforts. Pray for the people who received the Compass radios to grow in their faith.
Peru May 2026 Mission Trip Report
We partnered with Marquez and Zara Valderrama from Morada de Paz ministry. They have worked with inmates at the Huánuco prison for over 30 years. We distributed 50 audio Bibles/radios in the women’s prison and 150 in the men’s prison. We also travelled to the community of Yurimarca for a Panao Quechua-speaking church conference. Pastors came from different locations, and we distributed radios with Panao audio Bibles. It was a long but effective trip because we distributed many radios from a central spot, and the outreach was wide!
Mexico February 2026 Mission Trip Report
We partnered with Jim and Jamie Loker from Audio Scripture Recordings to distribute audio Bibles to the Otomi people. We were privileged to go on these distributions with the translator, Enrique Romero Lazcano, and other people who voiced the audio Bible. This is the first time the Bible has been translated into the Otomi language. Please pray for the people, as they listen to God’s Word in their heart language, to grow in their faith.
Peru 2025 Mission Trip Report
We travelled to Peru at the end of March and the beginning of April. We were able to visit two prisons, one in Huánuco and the other in Pucallpa, to distribute eyeglasses and radios with audio Bibles. We received a warm welcome in the prisons, and the prisoners received the items with enthusiasm. More than 100 inmates gave their lives to Christ through the Evangelical preaching. We have heard reports that many people are walking around listening to the radios, and they would like us to bring more for the prisoners to use.
In May, we travelled to Chosica and Ayacucho. In Chosica, we distributed radios with audio Bibles, and then we flew to Ayacucho, where we distributed radios with audio Bibles in a village. After that, we held a ladies’ conference, where we taught about the Fruit of the Spirit. It was well attended, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there singing, teaching, and doing crafts with the ladies.
Upcoming Trips
Albania 2027 (May 19-29)
We are planning to go to Albania to work with George and Nancy Sturm to distribute radios tuned to the stations they operate. Their stations provide Christian radio across the eastern half of Albania. The team will distribute radios and witness to Albanians.
Peru 2027 (July)
In July 2027, we are planning a mission trip to Huánuco, Peru, to deliver and distribute Compass radios containing the Huamalies Quechua audio Bible. Radio Installation Trips
We are still working on the dates for radio station installation trips for this year. We need people who are able to climb towers, install solar panels, do electrical work and/or set up the computer side of the radio station. Get your name on our stand-by list to install a station. The schedule depends on funding and licensing in the country where the station will be installed. You will be contacted as the need arises.
